Team Work!
God is busy putting all the pieces together for a great team effort in Mexico.
The Brown & Owens family are all working together to reach the world for Christ through Mexico.
border="0" />It is exciting to see how God is using our families, that have committed themselves to completing the Great Commission, in such a concerted effort to evangelize the lost, equip the saints and expand the Kingdom of God.
Thank you for praying for the Owens family and helping to get us to the field where we can continue to work hand in hand with not only family but churches and individuals that are concerned about reaching the world for Christ.
Here are some recent developments and prayer considerations:
Praise Two new supporting churches, Grace Baptist - Mason Ohio & Harvest Baptist in Abilene TX.
Praise New Tool - we have been given a 1999 F350 Diesel Crew Cab dually for use in our ministry.
Pray that we can get a 5th wheel travel trailer now for temporary housing when we move to Mexico in May of this year.
Pray for our plans to begin a Bible Institute in 2007.
Pray for wisdom & strength for the upcoming summer activities.
Praise - we have recieved a donation that will allow us to take care of the water and irrigation needs we have at El Saucillo.
Pray the next well drilled will service a 6 inch line!

Texas BIG

Big State - Big Hearts!
Lately we have been in some churches in the Houston area and Abilene TX. God has introduced us to some awesome Christians, encouraging pastors and friendly churches.
Pastor Mike Jones and his family.
He started Harvest Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas, 3 years ago.
What an awesome church. Great people, great encouragers, passionate about seeing souls saved and completing the Great Commission. We look forward to continued ministry with this man of God and this wonderful church.
Aase speaking at a ladies brunch - wouldn't you have liked to
have been there - she just has a way of connecting to people - she's great!
Unknown to the people at Harvest Baptist, Alissa (our youngest) has had a hard time lately, feeling like she has no friends here in Houston. Well from the first night that we arrived at the Mission conference, she made friends and was invited to spend the night at a new friend's home. It was overwhelming to see God using this church to minister to our little one in such a personal way. They didn't know it, but they were used in a great way to encourage a little heart.
Ken & Phyllis also demonstrated great hearts as they invited us to have our van serviced and cleaned at their Kwik Kar location in Abilene.
Beyond that they made themselves friendly towards us, we felt welcomed and at home.
These last couple of weeks we have been with encouraging pastors in Texas who are diligently setting the example for their congregations and reminding them that we are here to be fishers of men. I am glad that I have met these men of God.
