BLOCK MACHINE ACQUIRED!

Thank you Metropolitan Baptist for purchasing the compressed earth block machine for El Saucillo. This machine will be used for the majority of the building material on site. We are praying that housing for another 100 people can be readied by July 2006, and this machine is key to helping us see that goal met.

Lawrence was our instructor on how to use and troubleshoot the machine. He also gave us tips on working with our soil in Mexico.

The blocks seen in the picture are the first ones to come off our machine from our soil. Please pray that this will be an effective tool and that God's kingdom will continue to expand as we expand our facilities and capabilities to minister and reach out to others with God's word.

ACCIDENTS
Men on fire! (metal chop saw & welding accidents) Man bleeding! (metal grinding accident) But none of this stopped or even slowed the work. A plastic surgeon repaired Leonard's hand, he ate some KFC and was back to work. Allen & Keith just "stopped, dropped and rolled". The flames were out and they were back to work in their customized, stylized "holy" clothing.

God was very gracious and protected this work team. We had many an opportunity to hurt ourselves, but God was good to us! Thank you for your prayers.

Anticipation & Adaptation

With the help of CBC and your prayers we are looking forward to a very active and productive summer. We are planning an outreach camp that will involve English speakers working for 2 weeks with Mexican young people. We are praying that through this we will reach entire families for Christ.

We are now moving to have a bilingual Bible institute begun in 2007. This will be for English speakers as well as Spanish speaking individuals.

As a missionary you have to be flexible, and adaptable if you are going to make it - I couldn't do it without the great family God has given me. They serve as loading ramps and pulpits for preaching. Thanks Aase, Andrea, Alexandra & Alissa you are awesome!

Thank you Calvary Baptist for sending a great team to help us in the ministry!
ADDITIONS

We were able to add 2 trail riding horses to the camp stock for this summer. Andrea worked on laying out a 1/2 hour trail and is also working on a one hour trail for this summer.

We were able to get 2 of the ATVs across the border. We have one more that has been purchased waiting in Houston. We need to acquire at least 4 more for this summer's programs.

God truly directed in this matter. We are now able to purchase, transport and pay customs all for $1200.00 USD! Unbelievable. What we were first told meant that we would be paying closer to 2200.00 per unit. This price of $1200.00 includes a helmet with each unit.

Advancements

The team from Calvary Baptist in Uniontown PA were able to double the milk goat facilities. This will be a great help as we continue to find ways to raise funds for church planting efforts, not only in Mexico but around the world through Mexican missions.

The team also helped with finishing the closed ATV course that will be used in this summer's activities and outreach camps.

Thank you Leonard, Shirley, Keith, Kim, Larry & Heather for your blood, sweat, tears, sacrifice, laughter, fellowship, encouragement and love! May God richly bless you.

Bring your group and have an adventure of a life-time also! Be a part of what God is greatly doing through El Saucillo.

This team worked from 7 AM until 7 or 8 every night. The children were a help also. They test drove the ATV course and learned to take care of the noon feeding of the kids.

Changes

Missions will change your life and the lives of others. I had to run into Saltillo to make a purchase at Home Depot. On the way back I picked up 2 hitchhikers and presented the plan of salvation to them.

I now have an invitation to start a Bible Study when we return in San Miguel. There is so much to do, thanks for helping us to get there and continue the work God has given us to do.

Here are some other changes that took place :-)

Let me dazzle you with some "poetic" thought. As the sun sets on 2005, we are greatly anticipating God's continued glorious work in our lives and ministry. We are so thankful to have picked up two new supporting churches this past month.

Our Heavenly Father is truly an awesome God. God has been greatly impressing upon me during this time of deputation of the fact that we are His ambassadors for missions. It is a privilege to share what God is doing in Mexico and the global impact that it is having.

I would ask you to pray with us, that we would not only be His liaisons for missions right now, but that we would also have many opportunities to lead others to Christ and a new life in Him.

I am looking forward to what lies ahead in 2006 and the great adventure of just following God's path for our lives. Thank you for being here with us!
